September 22, 2022

Are you an aspiring entrepreneur with a new idea for a tech startup or social venture? Do you want to pitch your idea online and have the chance to win cash prizes, mentorship, and exposure at the national level? If so, then you should consider applying for the Blackstone Launchpad Ideas Competition!

The Blackstone Launchpad is a program that helps aspiring entrepreneurs and startups by providing them with the resources, mentorship, and funding they need to turn their ideas into impactful businesses. The program is open to students and recent alumni from participating universities, including the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC).

The Ideas Competition is one of the most exciting and important events in the Blackstone Launchpad program. It provides participants with an opportunity to showcase their innovative ideas and compete for prizes that can help them get their ventures off the ground. The deadline for submissions is October 30, so make sure to start working on your application soon!

Once you submit your idea, a panel of judges will review your submission and select the most promising ideas to move on to the next round. If you are selected, you will have the opportunity to work with mentors to refine your pitch and prepare for the final round of the competition at the national level. Finalists will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges and a live audience, and the top three ideas will receive cash prizes and valuable exposure and networking opportunities. The Blackstone Launchpad program has a wide network of partners, and so participating in the Ideas Competition can help you get your foot in the door and make valuable connections in the startup community.

So, if you have a new idea for a tech startup or social venture and want to take it to the next level, don't miss your chance to participate in the Blackstone Launchpad Ideas Competition. It could be the start of an exciting new chapter in your entrepreneurial and academic journey!
